What a treat to be commissioned by Adobe to create an artwork inspired by the theme of #Womentorship for their Women Create Campaign.

My mind zeroed-in on these words of wisdom, shared by my business mentor Monica Davidson of Creative Plus Business:

“It’s OK to be a peacock in a world of pigeons”.

I was compelled to turn these words them into a Pop Art fashion manifesto, passing on the knowledge that Monica so generously shared with me to others.

I designed the textile of the dress and art directed the image using a cocktail of Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom and Dimension.

Through this garment design, I hope Monica’s words inspire more peacocks out there to ditch their pigeon disguise and embrace the glorious plumes within!
