KATY PERRY WEARS FRIDA LAS VEGAS PRINT ON AMERICAN IDOL!

I was THRILLED to design a custom FRIDA LAS VEGAS textile print for pop icon Katy Perry to wear on American Idol!

Ms Hudson wore this silk jumpsuit and kimono ensemble for the launch of American Idol at the Disney Aulani Resort in Honolulu. The print was inspired by vintage vacation wear of yore with a Pop Art twist, thanks to the appearance of a certain early 80s Mickey Mouse - my lifelong muse!

This was a dream project come true and this wonderfully talented crew of creatives brought the vision to life as a whole - check out more of their amazing work below!
