A professional border-crosser, Stavroula is multi-skilled and multi-faceted, working and creating in an ever-changing economy where she regularly undertakes a variety of roles thanks to her diverse skill set, adding a unique sense of value and flexibility to her collaborators’ projects and workflows.
Stavroula’s art and design practice encompasses neon art, illustration, fashion & accessory design. Her work has exhibited in art galleries around Sydney (Outre Gallery, Disorder Gallery), appeared on television (The X Factor, The Voice) in print media (The Sunday Age, The West Australian, The Daily Telegraph) and featured on web platforms (Buzzfeed, Junkee, Habitus Magazine, Screen NSW and Make Nice Women's Un-Conference).
Stavroula was the 2016 recipient of the ‘Young Creative Australian of the Year’ award (Design/Fashion category) by arts media platform, Lost At E Minor and was personally selected by University of Technology Sydney (UTS) management as an ambassador for KINDRED, the NSW Creative Industries knowledge hub.
Ever since she was systematically possessed by the spirit of film, art, fashion, music and design as a young girl growing up in Australian suburbia, Stavroula has become MEGA passionate about creating positive change on both the individual and collective level through the creation and appreciation of the Arts.
